ACT Fire Brigade and ACT Ambulance Service on scene at Slessor Crescent, McKellar following a roofing accident on a residential home.
A resident of the single storey house has slipped on his roof, with ACT Fire Brigade crews using a rescue stretcher to lower the patient off the roof.
ACT Ambulance Service intensive care paramedics are treating the male aged approx in his 60's, for a leg fracture and will soon transport to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
ACT Fire Brigade would like to remind the community to exercise caution whilst conducting maintenance work on roofs of structures.
