The ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) Molonglo and Hall Brigades, will conduct a hazard reduction burn tonight, Wednesday 25 January, 2012, from 6.30pm till 10pm, weather permitting, at Mount Rogers Reserve, corner of Wickens Place and Bingley Crescent, Fraser.
Three heavy tankers, one medium unit, one light unit, a command vehicle and 20 personnel will conduct the burn covering a total area of approx two hectares.
The purpose of the burn is to reduce a fire hazard and a training exercise for volunteers.
