Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service has been contacting residents cut off by flooding south of Tharwa in the ACT on Nass and Smith Roads to assess their needs over the next few days.
NSWSES are currently doing similar for residents in the area on the other side of the border.
There are no plans for evacuation from the area at this stage but will be coordinated between ACTSES and NSWSES if required in the future.
ACT Government staff are also keeping a close eye of the rising waterways across the ACT including Jerrabomberra Creek at Fyshwick.
Commonwealth Avenue off ramp to Parkes Way is still closed because of flooding.
