The Bureau of Meteorology has re-issued a Severe Weather Warning for Flash Flooding in the ACT and parts of NSW.
Motorists are urged to drive to the conditions including slowing down and leaving a greater distance between you and the car in front. Under no circumstances attempt to drive through large bodies of water.
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 780 calls for help since the wet weather started 3pm Tuesday. 91 calls were received from 7pm last night. 72 jobs remain outstanding. Ground water starting to affect the foundations of some homes with drains also carrying large volumes of water reaching capacity and causing localised flooding.
Residents who require flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132-500.
