The Gungahlin Unit from the ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has won today's Rescue Challenge at the ACT Emergency Services Agency Training Centre at Hume.
The Gungahlin Unit will represent the ACT in the National Disaster Rescue Challenge in Victoria from 20th - 22nd September, 2013.
Four teams from the ACTSES and one team from the Queanbeyan Unit with the NSW State Emergency Service competed today in a number of activities demonstrating their general rescue skills and knowledge.
