Fire extinguished in excavator

ACT Fire & Rescue has extinguished a fire in an excavator on Dunrossil Drive, Yarralumla.

Two fire pumpers responded to the scene and extinguished the fire which began in the engine compartment.

Estimated damaged $60,000.

No injuries.

Crews are about to depart the scene.
