ACT Fire & Rescue to assist Fire & Rescue NSW

From midday today, ACT Fire & Rescue will provide pumper crews for Queanbeyan, Cooma and Yass stations in response to a request for support from Fire & Rescue NSW.

ACT Fire & Rescue will provide three pumpers, twelve staff and two platform on demand units to allow for the three Fire & Rescue NSW stations to be released to cover the increased fire activity in the Greater Sydney Basin.

This assistance provided by ACT Fire & Rescue will not have an effect on local operations.
