Private landholder to conduct agricultural burn today at Tharwa

A private landholder will today, Thursday 26 June, 2014, weather permitting, conduct an agricultural burn on the property "Jeggaline" near Lanyon Homestead, Tharwa Drive, Tharwa.

The burn of vegetation is expected to continue through the day.

Temporary smoke cover may occur.

The Health Directorate advises that people with asthma, other chronic respiratory
and/or chronic cardiac diseases should not perform vigorous exercise and should stay
inside if affected by the smoke. People with asthma in particular should continue their
medication and consult their general practitioner if they have any difficulties.
