Firefighters have extinguished a fire in a single level property on Goldie Place, Kambah.
No-one was home at the time of the fire.
ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) were notified following an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call by a neighbour at 8.56pm who heard a working smoke alarm from the home and then also started to extinguish the small fire.
ACTF&R contained the fire to the living room and firefighters are now conducting ventilation operations and clearing smoke from the house. The home has sustained minor damage.
Two fire pumpers, the Breathing Apparatus Van and one Commander are on scene.
