A disabled man has safely self evacuated himself after a fire started this afternoon in his Kambah home.
The man was cooking when the fire started on his stove.
He rang emergency triple zero (000) and took himself outside.
Firefighters arrived soon after and quickly extinguished the fire.
Fire crews are now ventilating the property which sustained minor smoke damage to the kitchen.
