Storm and Flood Assistance
ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 61 calls for help following last night's storm.
ACTSES volunteers and ACT Fire & Rescue have responded to jobs mostly relating to trees and branches across roads, driveways and pathways with the majority in Canberra's southern suburbs.
The ACT SES Majura and Belconnen Units are currently on site working to remove a large tree from a two storey house on Cockburn Street, Curtin.
Residents who require storm or flood assistance can call the ACTSES on 132 500.
