Storm and Flood Assistance
A third taskforce of volunteers will leave tomorrow, Tuesday, 28 April, 2015, to assist in recovery operations following the New South Wales weather crisis.
The 21 ACT State Emergency Service volunteers and two ACT Rural Fire Service chainsaw operators will leave the ACT Emergency Services Agency headquarters building at 7am.
Crews will be tasked in the Hunter region as directed by the NSW State Emergency Service and will return to the ACT on Friday evening.
