Storm and Flood Assistance
Firefighters are currently on scene at an office building on City Walk, Canberra following a burst water pipe in the roof.
ACT Fire & Rescue has stopped the leak which has damaged an area of carpet and fittings of approximately 30 metres x 15 metres on the second level of the eight storey building.
Some minor water leaking has also been detected underneath in a restauarnt. There are no evacuations. Workers in the building have been moved to another area inside.
Power has been shut off until contractors can rectify the burst water pipe.
