A 30-year-old man has serious chest injuries following a five car crash at the Hindmarsh and Namatjira drive intersection.
Intensive care paramedics transported the man to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
Two other patients, a 74-year-old woman and 76-year-old man, were also transported to the Canberra Hospital with minor injuries.
Another 56-year-old woman was assessed at the scene by the ACT Ambulance Service but not require hospitalisation.
The Emergency Triple Zero (000) call was received at 12:34pm.
ACT Fire & Rescue also assisted with the removal of two patients from their cars.
