Smell of gas

ACT Fire & Rescue crews are in Kingston investigating the smell of gas in the basement of the Aurora Apartments on Eastlake Parade.

Around 8.25am crews were called to the complex.

The gas is not at a dangerous level but firefighters are investigating the source.

No one has been evacuated.

There are two pumpers, the hazmat unit, a breathing apparatus and one Commander on scene.

Part of Eastlake Parade is closed.
