A man has had a lucky escape after a truck rollover on the Monaro Highway at Hume.
The 39-year-old was trapped for close to an hour while firefighters worked to free him from the wreckage using hydraulic rescue tools.
The man was assessed at the scene by intensive care paramedics before being transported to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.
The ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue responded to an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call at 2:27am.
The single-vehicle incident occured near the Tralee Street intersection.
