Update two - ADVICE - Fire on Cooleman Ridge

ACT Fire & Rescue and ACT Rural Fire Service is working to extinguish a grass fire burning at the southern end of Cooleman Ridge Nature Reserve in Kambah.

The Bushfire Alert and Warning Level for this fire has been set at ADVICE.

There are 15 units on the scene working to extinguish the fire.

The fire is located approximately 600 metres from Allchin Circuit. There are no properties under threat.

The fire is approximately 500 metres x 150 metres in size and is being controlled.

The Fire Danger Rating where this fire is burning is HIGH.

Fires burning in HIGH conditions can be controlled.

Well prepared and actively defended houses can offer safety during a fire.

Embers may be blown ahead of the fire.

Spot fires can occur close to the main fire.
