In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
Storm and Flood Assistance
A man has been airlifted to hospital after a bushwalking accident in Namadgi National Park.
The ACT Ambulance Service was alerted to the incident at Booroomba Rocks by an Emergency Triple Zero (000) call earlier this afternoon.
They responded the TOLL rescue helicopter and flight paramedics to the scene along with back up from several ACT Rural Fire Service crews in case the man had to be carried out.
The 40 year old patient was winched out by the chopper then flown to The Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with suspected leg injuries for further assessment.
