Don’t be alarmed if you see crews from the ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) and ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) out at EPIC this weekend!
ACTAS will be testing their Mass Casualty Incident process in a joint exercise with ACTSES, who will be trialling their new ACTSES Ambulance Support Volunteer program.
ACTSES are going all out for the event and will even be practicing their moulage on the Australian Catholic University ‘victims’ who have volunteered to help out on the day.
The exercise is scheduled to kick off at 7:30am and run through until 2:30pm, and has been planned to ensure there is no disruption to operational capability.ESA_Media_Release_-_21_June_ACTAS_MCI_Exercise
