In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
A 42-year-old man has been rescued by ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue crews after his vehicle rolled down a ravine at Brindabella National Park.
The man had been driving alone at the time but a passer-by in the area found him and called Emergency Triple Zero (000) just after midday.
It took more than two hours to reach the man. ACT Fire & Rescue responded in its Remote Area 4WDs before walking with intensive care paramedics to the crash site near Two Sticks Road, just north of the NSW border.
Firefighters trained in vertical rescue pulled the patient to safety. He was transported to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with a broken leg.
