The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for damaging winds, large hailstones and heavy rainfall for the ACT and surrounding region.
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) urge Canberrans to #BeStormReady. While the sun is out, now is the time to get ready by:
- moving vehicles under cover and away from trees
- bringing pets inside
- securing any loose items around the home that could blow away in the wind.
