The ACT Emergency Services Agency would like to reassure the community that a smoke-haze and smell-of-smoke in the ACT today is coming from bushfires in Victoria.
There is no threat to the ACT from these fires. There is also currently no bushfire threat in the ACT.
Today, the ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) will deploy 14 firefighters to assist Emergency Management Victoria with bushfires burning in the Victorian Gippsland region.
