In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
Storm and Flood Assistance
ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) has welcomed 15 new paramedics to station since the beginning of 2019. More paramedics has allowed ACTAS to put an additional ambulance on the road from 9am to 10pm. This will help to cover the busiest time for ACTAS, and will help the service continue to deliver the fastest response times in Australia.
The 15 new paramedics are graduates of universities across Australia and New Zealand, and were employed after a highly competitive selection process. The ACT Emergency Services Agency is so happy to see more paramedics on the road helping our community.
