ACT Fire & Rescue’s next recruitment round opens August

Applications for ACT Fire & Rescue’s next recruitment round will open in August. 

Being a firefighter is no ordinary job. The work is varied, challenging and rewarding. You need to be ready, willing and able, and applicants are encouraged to start preparing now.

ACT Fire & Rescue firefighters have put together a video demonstrating ways applicants can train at home to help prepare for the Physical Aptitude Test (PAT). Remember, you should always consult with your physician before starting a fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs and physical ability.
