ACTSES complete 485 requests for assistance

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) have completed 485 requests for assistance since Sunday morning, following recent rain and strong winds.

Crews from ACTSES, ACT Fire & Rescue and Transport Canberra & City Services responded to a number calls for help. Many homes were revisited after the recent hailstorm, responding to leaks as a result of roof damage.

The ACT Emergency Services Communications Centre and the Access Canberra call centre supported crews by providing advice and reassurance to the community.
