Update 7:42 PM: Three fires are continuing to burn in very remote parts of the Namadgi National Park, southwest of Canberra.
Weather conditions are favourable, and the size of the fires remains stable.
It's expected that additional remote area firefighting teams and aircraft will respond to the incidents on Sunday (04/01) morning.
Firefighters from the ACT Rural Fire Service will continue to monitor the situation throughout the evening.
There is no immediate threat to life or property.

5:18 PM: Multiple bushfires have started in the Namadji National Park, southwest of Canberra.
Firefighters are responding to two ignitions near Cotter Hut, and one near Bendora Dam.
Firefighting aircraft, and remote area fire teams are working to contain the fires. There is no immediate threat to life or property.
Community members may see smoke, and helicopters operating in the area.
