Apartment Fire - Emerald Way, Amaroo. 08:30 03.04.2020

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R), ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) and ACT Policing attended an apartment fire at a three-story complex In Emerald Way, Amaroo.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

Firefighting operations are now completed.

Emergency Services have departed the scene.

Emerald Way, Amaroo is now open.

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R), ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) and ACT Police are in attendance at an apartment fire in Emerald Way, Amaroo. 

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

ACTF&R HAZMAT team are also on scene at the three-story complex to assist with firefighting efforts and declare the area safe.

Home occupants were treated on scene for smoke inhalation and released.

Emerald Way is currently closed to traffic.

The Community are advised to avoid the area.
