In a life threatening emergency dial Triple Zero (000)
Storm and Flood Assistance
Earlier this month, a woman was being transported from Canberra Hospital to Claire Holland House.
Our ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) paramedics went beyond their call of duty. They drove the woman to her favourite spot in Canberra – the Eucalypt Gardens at the National Botanic Gardens.
There, the woman was able to soak up the sun and the atmosphere – talking and laughing with her family members around her.
Our ACTAS paramedics provide emergency, non-emergency and aero-medical services to the ACT community every day.
They take their job to provide the utmost care to their patients very seriously and we are so proud of this fact!
