ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) were called to a gas incident when a quick-thinking occupant smelt gas in Salvation Army House on Ainsworth Street in Mawson.
On attending, crews discovered a gas stove that had accidentally been left on. The building was evacuated as a precaution while ACTF&R cleared the gas and performed atmospheric testing.
