As of 1.00pm today, 67 requests for help have been received by the ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES), the majority of these are in the northern suburbs.
Volunteer crews from ACTSES as well as crews from ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) have revisited several homes previously damaged by hail requiring additional temporary repairs.
Crews from Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) are responding to reports of standing water on roads caused by blocked storm water drains.
The Bureau of Meteorology advise that this rain will continue through the afternoon and into the evening with heavier falls expected Thursday.
