Storm and Flood Assistance
Crews from ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES), ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) have been working hard to assist with the 90 requests for help received from the community so far.
There is a chance of thunderstorms this afternoon which may bring heavier rainfall.
Be aware of the possibility of water levels rising in our rivers and storm water drains. Remember if its flooded, forget it.
Requests for help are prioritised based on the type of damage and the effect on the resident. Priorities are assessed and categorised based on the information provided during the call for assistance.
