Storm and Flood Assistance
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) have received a total of 300 requests for help following the recent rains.
We currently have volunteer teams from ACTSES, NSW SES, ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS), ESA Mapping along with ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and Transport Canberra and City Services (TCCS) assisting with outstanding requests.
Please be advised that Oaks Estate road has been closed by TCCS. Other rural low-level crossings are continually being reviewed. For more information on road closures: https://www.cityservices.act.gov.au/roads-and-paths/act_public_road_closures
Residents who require assistance for storm or flood damage, or if your situation changes can call 132 500.
