>At approximately 7:30pm this evening, ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire & Rescue responded to reports of fire at a Kambah home.
>On arrival, firefighters quickly extinguished a fire that started in the kitchen.
>A mother and two children suffered smoke inhalation and were treated by paramedics at the scene. All three patients were transported to hospital in a stable condition for further assessment.
>ACT Fire & Rescue urge the community to remember “don’t stop looking while you’re cooking”.
