The road closure from Tharwa Bridge has now been reinstated at the Tharwa Drive /Knoke Avenue and Pocket Avenue roundabout.
The road closure at the Tharwa Drive / Knoke Avenue and Pocket Avenue roundabout has now been moved to the North Side of Tharwa Bridge.
The road closure that was at Tidbinbilla Road at its junction with Corin Road has now been moved to small bridge at Cotter Road (by the picnic area).
The Tidbinbilla Road at its junction with Point Hut Road has now been moved to Point Hut Road at its junction with Jim Pike Avenue.
These changes in closures are in the interest of public safety.
Corin Road has been closed from the intersection at Tidbinbilla Road. This is a hard road closure, which means no access will be granted to the general public. Residents of private properties along the road will be granted access as needed. This closure is in place for community safety. Members of the public have been using the road to park and walk towards the Orroral Valley Fire. This 'disaster tourism' puts personal safety and possibly lives at risk. Please heed the advice of the ACT Emergency Services Agency on these matters.
