Storm and Flood Assistance
Tomorrow, Saturday 19 March 2022, ACT Rural Fire Service (ACTRFS) will conduct a pile burn at Springbank Island, Lake Burley Griffin.
The burn is scheduled to take place from 11:00am, weather permitting.
Smoke and flames may be visible on Springbank Island while the burn is underway.
ACTRFS will remain on scene for the duration of the pile burn however the burn area may continue to produce smoke for some time.
Please only dial Emergency Triple Zero (000) if you see an unattended fire.
