Prescribed burns in the ACT

Three prescribed burns will be conducted over the next two days, subject to suitable weather and fuel moisture conditions. 
Black Mountain Reserve - Today (Wed 5 April)
Aranda Bushland Nature Reserve - Today (Wed 5 April)
Bruce Ridge Nature Reserve - Tomorrow (Thurs 6 April)

All three burns are to reduce the risk of fire and protect the surrounding areas.
These carefully controlled burns are an important tool for managing our land and reducing fire risk. Smoke might be visible in the coming days.
The ACT Emergency Services Agency reminds the community to only report unnattended fires to Emergency Triple Zero (000).
