Record number of calls for help

A record number of calls for help has been received by the ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) today. Over the last two years, the ACT State Emergency Service has averaged an annual storm response of approximately 600 jobs. Today, The ACT ESA has received more than 1,900 calls for help since midday.
