Firefighters have extinguished a fire in a kitchen at a Kippax Fair restaurant.
ACT Fire & Rescue was called to Hardwick Crescent just before 3:30pm.
Multiple firefighting resources are on scene including three pumpers.
The kitchen has been damaged by fire, smoke and water. The fire did not spread to any other part of the building.
Several patrons evacuated when a fire alarm activated. Kippax Fair is closed to the public.
Crews will remain on scene for some time to conduct atmospheric monitoring and to complete fire investigations.
