Storm and Flood Assistance
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for large hailstones and damaging winds effecting the entire ACT region.
If it is safe to do so, the ACT State Emergency Service advises the community to:
- Move your car under cover and away from trees - Secure or put away loose items
- Keep at least 8 metres away from fallen power lines
- Stay indoors away from windows
- Never drive, walk or ride through floodwater.
