Severe Thunderstorm Warning - Heavy rainfall, damaging winds & large hailstones

The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the ACT for heavy rainfall, damaging winds & large hailstones.

To stay up to date with what the weather is doing and for updated warnings visit www.bom.gov.au.

If it is safe to do so, the ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) advises the community to:

  • Move your car under cover or away from trees
  • Secure or put away loose items that are outside

It’s important to never drive, ride or walk through floodwater. If you need support during storms and floods call the ACTSES on 132 500. In a life-threatening emergency call Triple Zero (000).
