Storm and Flood Assistance
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for the ACT.
Canberra will likely be impacted by storms, damaging winds, and hail within the next hour, and continue to experience these conditions throughout the night.
If it is safe to do so, the ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) advises the community to:
-Move your car under cover or away from trees
-Take extra precaution when walking outside or driving
-Secure or put away loose items that are outside
-Monitor the conditions, stay up to date with weather warnings through www.bom.gov.au.
