Severe Weather Warning - ACT

Heads up Canberra, it’s time to start preparing for some rainy and windy weather.

 

Tomorrow the Bureau of Meteorology has forecasted heavy rain and damaging winds in the ACT.

 

If you haven’t already prepared your home, now is the time to:

🌩️ Clean your gutters of debris;

💧 Check that street drains near your home are clear;

🪵 Trim overhanging trees and branches;

🏡 Do a general clean-up around the home and backyard;

⛱️ Secure any loose items;

⛔️ Take care while driving, and never ride, walk or drive through floodwater.
