ACT Ambulance Service (ACTAS) paramedics have rescued a walker from Shepherds Lookout near the Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre earlier today. A female in her 30s sustained lower limb injuries when she fell while on the walking track. ACTAS paramedics with the assistance of ACT Fire & Rescue and Icon Water stretcher carried the patient 200m to their specialist 4wd ambulance. The patient was treated and transport to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
