STORM IMPACT ACROSS THE ACT

The severe weather that passed through the ACT last night and today caused damage across Canberra.

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) have received 75 requests for assistance, and 46 remain outstanding.

Areas around the inner south of the city have been affected the most, with several major roads impacted. Where possible, please avoid the following on your drive home this afternoon:

  • Constitution Ave (London Circuit intersection)
  • Flinders Way
  • Canberra Ave (western end)
  • Barton Highway (Bellenden St exit)
  • Mugga Lane
