This is an ADVICE level bushfire warning. A bushfire has started near Bendora Dam. If you are in this area, you need to keep up to date.
The ACT Emergency Services Agency (ESA) advises that there is a bushfire in the remote area of Namadgi National Park, on Bendora Road between Bulls Head picnic area and Bendora Dam.
No properties are under threat at this time. Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you or your property is under threat.
Current situation:
The fire is being controlled and units from ACT Rural Fire Service, ACT Parks and Conservation Service and ACT Fire & Rescue are on scene.
The size of the fire is currently one hectare. Under current weather conditions, the fire should be easy to control.
People in the area may be affected by smoke.
