Update - Evacuation - Fyshwick

Investigations have concluded. Firefighters found and isolated a non-suspicious material leaking from damaged machinery.

The building is now safe to reoccupy.

ACT Fire & Rescue has departed the scene. All roads are reopened.

ACT Fire & Rescue is currently investigating a possible hazardous material leak at a post office on Mildura Street, near Canberra Avenue in Fyshwick.

The post office has been evacuated as a precaution. A partial road closure is in place on Mildura Street.
