Update - Hazardous Materials Incident - Civic

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and ACT Policing have left the scene of the hazardous materials incident at 1 Moore Street in Civic.

 The area is safe and people have returned to the building.

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) and ACT Policing are currently responding to a hazardous materials incident in a building at the corner of Alinga Street and Moore Street.

1 Moore Street has been evacuated, and ACTF&R are monitoring the environment.

The community is advised to avoid the area.
