Update: Hazardous Materials Incident (Gas Leak) - Scotts Crossing x Bunda St, Civic

Firefighters from ACT Fire & Rescue have now departed the scene at Scotts Crossing.

The source of the leak has been identified and the scene has been handed back to the gas company.

The earlier exclusion zones have now been revoked and the area has been deemed safe.

ACT Fire & Rescue is on scene at a gas leak at a worksite on Scotts Crossing near Bunda St, Civic.

The immediate scene has been evacuated while firefighters make the area safe. 

We are asking people in the area to avoid the location until the scene has been rendered safe.
