The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has now received 180 calls for assistance as a result of the wet weather since midnight.
Corrin Road at Woods Reserve has been closed following two small landslides.
The following closures are also still in place:
Uriarra Crossing
Coppins Crossing
Angle Crossing
Point Hut Crossing
Oaks Estate Crossing
Sunshine Crossing
Paddys River Road (6.2km south of the Cotter Reserve to its intersection with Discovery Drive)
Dudley Street (both directions between Novar Street/Kent Street and Cotter Road in Yarralumla).
The Naas Road bridge (over Gudgenby River) is also closed. The temporary bridge in place at this site for access during construction of a new bridge has been inundated with flood water.
Local residents in this area will need to travel south on Boboyan Road, Shannons Flat Road and Mittagang Road to the Monaro Highway if they wish to travel to Canberra.
Residents in the Naas Valley area who may be impacted by the low-level flooding can call 132 500 if they require assistance. The ACT Emergency Service Agency has reached out to rural landholders who may be impacted.
All motorists are asked to follow signage at the closed road and crossing locations and use an alternative route, with barriers in place to all traffic.
