The latest advice from the Bureau of Meteorology suggests that the remainder of today and up to early tomorrow morning should be dry. The rain should reappear mid-morning tomorrow and continue for at least 18 hours. Steady rain is expected during this period of between 50 - 75mm, though 100mm is also a possibility. Monday should see the start of a period of fine weather.
The ACTSES remind the community to stay well clear of fast flowing water. Do not enter drains or other expanses of water under any circumstances.
The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has received a total of 563 calls for help since 3pm Tuesday. ACTSES crews will continue to work through the evening.
